What to Expect at the 2016 Dakota Garden Expo [VIDEO]
Dakota Garden Expo times:
- Friday, April 15: 3 to 8 p.m.
- Saturday, April 16: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This year will be better than ever with both returning and new vendors. Vendors include home accessories, gourmet food items, gardening, custom décor and much more! Don’t forget to bring a soil sample because the USDA – Natural Resources Conservation Service will have equipment on hand to provide electrical conductivity and/or pH measurements! As you can see, there is something for everyone.
A large number of seminars will be taking place throughout the two-day event. Be sure to check back for a full schedule. Thanks to Pediatric Therapy Partners and Cashman Nursery, there will be a Kids Zone full of activities like face painting and a sandbox to keep the little ones happy.
Prizes include numerous gift cards and a $3,400 outdoor dining set!
Don’t forget about our handy Plant Check thanks to ND One Call! It’s basically a coat check for your plants. This way, you can make your purchases and pick them up later so you can enjoy the rest of the expo. Curb side delivery will be available for your purchases thanks to the 4-H Clubs.
Admission each day is $4 for adults or $2 with the donation of a nonperishable food item. Those 17 and under are free. Parking Lots C and D are free and parking lot B is $5 per space. All vendors should park in lots E and D. Visitors must enter through the new entrance to the Event Center on the northwest side of the building.
Don’t miss your opportunity to get a jump start on summer and check out the largest gardening event in North Dakota!
